Yes — you can wax during both. Just know that hormones can make your skin extra sensitive, so the wax may feel spicier than usual. If you're pregnant, I’ll adjust the technique and pace to keep you comfortable. If you’re on your period, come with a fresh tampon or menstrual cup. Either way, it’s totally safe — just a little more tender, and I’ve got you.

Hard wax is ideal for sensitive spots, soft wax is great for larger areas, and sugaring is a gentle, natural option for extra-sensitive skin. Yes, waxing can be uncomfortable—especially the first time. But it’s a quick kind of pain that gets easier over time. The more regularly you wax, the less it hurts because your hair becomes finer and your follicles get weaker. Most people stay smooth for about 3–5 weeks. Also, I use high-quality wax and proper technique to minimize the discomfort (and no, I won’t double dip!)

Hair should be about ¼ inch long—roughly the length of a grain of rice. If it’s shorter, the wax can’t grip it properly, which means patchy results and more passes on the skin (aka more irritation). If it’s too long, no stress—I’ll trim it safely for you. Just avoid trimming or shaving before your appointment, because it can mess with the results and make the session less effective.
